Facilities Use Refund Policy (Rooms, Picnic Shelters, Fields, etc.)
Refund requests must be in writing and must meet certain deadlines. Processing fees will apply to all refunds.

Refunds due to inclement weather will be issued if the County Manager closes county offices. Should a County facility be closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the party making the reservation will be given the option to reschedule, before being refunded all reservation/damage deposits and usage fees.

Parks and Recreation Activities
Program fees are 100% refundable when the program is cancelled by the department.
If requested prior to seven (7) days in advance of the first program date, a full refund less a $5.00 administrative fee will be given. If requested less than 48 hours before the start of the program, a 50% refund less a $5.00 administrative fee will be given. No refund will be given if requested less than 48 hours before the start of the program. No administrative fee is charged if the refund requestor will accept a household credit. This credit would expire by May 15 each year. Household credit balance will not be accepted from May 16 - June 30 each year.
A receipt number or participant date of birth is required to verify the validity of each refund request.

Senior Center Activities
All fees are refunded when classes, trips, or special events are cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
Individual class fee refunds are made upon submission of a written request citing cause.
Local Day Trip transportation refunds will be made if the reservation is cancelled at least 3 working days before the trip.
To receive a refund for a Saturday Getaway, cancellations must be made 7 days in advance of the trip.
Refunds for Extended Trips must be requested 21 days before the balance payment is due.
